Delta Dental Plan of Oregon Service Area – Nationwide

There may be a 12-month waiting period for some services if you have not had 12 months of continuous dental coverage immediately preceding enrollment into the PHIP Delta Dental Plan of Oregon.

The Delta Dental Plan of Oregon gives you access to the Premier and PPO Networks, the largest dental networks in Oregon and nationwide. We are a local company working in communities like yours to ensure you get the dental care you need. With this plan, you can count on no waiting periods for preventative care, savings from in-network dentists, and superior customer service.

Oral health research has shown a strong link between oral health and overall health. Delta Dental believes that when you see a dentist regularly and maintain a healthy mouth, it can help keep the rest of your body healthy too. 

For those that need a little extra attention to their pearly whites, the Delta Dental plan offers extra benefits and additional preventative services to those that qualify.

For members who have a greater risk for oral diseases, we offer the Health through Oral Wellness® program. This program uses an oral health assessment to find out your risk of tooth decay, gum disease and oral cancer. Based on your risk score, you may
qualify for additional cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and periodontal maintenance.

Another program we offer is the Oral Health, Total Health program. This program includes additional cleanings throughout the year and is available to individuals that have been diagnosed with diabetes. For those with periodontal disease, you could be eligible for up to four periodontal maintenance cleanings per year.

The Delta Dental plan also includes the Passport Dental program so that no matter where in the world you roam, you are able to access great dental care when you need it.

With the Delta Dental of Oregon plan, there is a lot of flexibility. You can live anywhere in the United States, including the U.S. territories, and be enrolled on this plan.

For added convenience, you can also take advantage of our no-cost virtual dentistry options, including email and phone visits. You must reside in the Kaiser Permanente dental service area to enroll in Kaiser Permanente dental coverage.
